I’m tired of the wait and makeshift homes away from all the things you say, because I’m never perfect. Just like the freezing cold outside, and waiting for it to subside. I hope this wont consume me, just like your pride consumed you. My hands are shakin’. And my mind is achin’. And all these ancient feelings are being resurrected. I’m looking past the windowsill, nothing I haven’t seen before and nothing I’ll miss when its gone cause then it wont reflect my thoughts. And I don't care if the sun rises or falls beneath orange horizons. One day the smoke will clear and my lungs won't be near as bad as they used to be. I’ve gone through my fair share of feelings of despair. But pushing through the days is the only thing that makes any sense, to anyone or anything.
